Dear Members,
Every minute of every day, someone in Canada needs blood. That someone could be a loved one, a friend, a co-worker – or even you. In Canada, roughly 137,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year. We all know that cancer patients often need blood or blood products to survive their treatments.
A single donation of blood can save up to 3 lives.
UBC Golden Key is running a blood drive in memory of Fred Walchli, the father of Julie Walchli, our dedicated and loved chapter advisor, who recently passed away from the blood disease, myelofibrosis. This disease reduces the patient's ability to generate new blood cells resulting in chronic anemia. Please join us in remembering Mr. Walchli and donate blood to help save lives.

Friday March 23rd: 12:30-3:00 pm (Including the transportation time)
